Jumping Rope

Jumping rope? Yes, you read it right. You probably did this when you were in grade school and think that jumping rope is something only kids do. Here are a few reasons that could change your mind:

Awesome Calorie Burner

Not all exercises can burn as many calories as jumping rope does.; Jumping for a minute can burn 10 to 16 calories. And jumping for 10 minutes is equal to running 8 minutes per mile.

Increase Agility

Why do boxers jump rope? Because it increases their agility, making them lighter on their feet. When you jump rope, your body connects with your mind to help you stay balanced. This promotes and boosts quick coordination.

Good for the Brain

Any exercise is good for the brain. But jumping rope is much better. It’s an activity that is both physically and mentally demanding.

Dancing is an exercise that involves using your whole boy and it’s probably the most fun. You just need a space where you can dance and music. Here’s why you should dance:

It’s Both Aerobic and Anaerobic

To be in top condition, our bodies need aerobic and anaerobic activities. Aerobic movements can come in the form of swaying, jumping, and twirling while balancing, squatting, and lifting are anaerobic exercises.

Never Boring

There are so many dance moves you can try with a multitude of music to dance to. You will never run out of options.

After your complete workout, don’t forget to cool down. Simply continue exercising for a few minutes with lesser intensity and slower pace. You can also wind down using a cooling down equipment that you can also use for warming up before your workout.
