Complete Workout You Can Do at Home

Are you still adjusting to the new normal? Staying at home, not going to work,  gatherings, shopping malls, movie theaters, restaurants, and other public places is indeed the new way of living. How long will this social distancing last? We don’t really know. All we can do right now to help in this crisis is to obediently stay at home. 


Take this time to do the things you want to do before but never had the time to do so. Are you longing to have that sexy beach body ready for summer? Or you just want to keep fit? Then take this chance to work that body. Get your workout gear and equipment ready! Here are some workout routines you can do at home:


Yoga

 

Yes, yoga is considered as an exercise and scientific findings showed that including this to your workout routine can be advantageous. Check out the benefits you can get.

Fit and Youthful

Practicing Yoga can increase your flexibility and strength. It helps keep you fit.

Telomeres are compound structures that can be found at the end of each chromosome. These structures protect the end of the chromosomes and prevent them from deteriorating. Telomeres were found to shorten as a person ages. In a scientific study, it was found that shorter telomeres are attributed to living an unhealthy lifestyle. Yoga, being healthy, and all that is associated with longer telomeres. Longer telomeres make you look younger than your age.

Practicing yoga helps you sleep better. It has a calming effect that can help you manage the stress and anxiety brought about by the uncertainty of the current situation. 

Great for Weight Loss

Jumping Rope

 

Jumping rope? Yes, you read it right. You probably did this when you were in grade school and think that jumping rope is something only kids do. Here are a few reasons that could change your mind:

Not all exercises can burn as many calories as jumping rope does.; Jumping for a minute can burn 10 to 16 calories. And jumping for 10 minutes is equal to running 8 minutes per mile.

Why do boxers jump rope? Because it increases their agility, making them lighter on their feet. When you jump rope, your body connects with your mind to help you stay balanced. This promotes and boosts quick coordination.

Dancing

 

Dancing is an exercise that involves using your whole boy and it’s probably the most fun. You just need a space where you can dance and music. Here’s why you should dance:

To be in top condition, our bodies need aerobic and anaerobic activities. Aerobic movements can come in the form of swaying, jumping, and twirling while balancing, squatting, and lifting are anaerobic exercises.

Dancing can help improve your flexibility as your body stretches in every direction and your muscles get used to it, it becomes more flexible.

After your complete workout, don’t forget to cool down. Simply continue exercising for a few minutes with lesser intensity and slower pace. You can also wind down using a cooling down equipment that you can also use for warming up before your workout.
